Inspirational People

The dream of no longer needing to collect paychecks from an employer is my overall motivation. If you have spent more than 2 minutes on this site you already understand that. However, that is not all that keeps me going along the way. Instead, it’s the community of Internet Entrepreneurs out there that are happily working less than 40 hours a week that encourages me. Today, I’d like to take a put the spotlight on several people that inspired me to relaunch Truebluetitan in this new direction. This is the first of several lists of inspirational people that I plan to put together.

NowInStock.net

Justin Vavrick is the site administrator of NowInStock.net. He has really opened my eyes to just how much the Keep It Simple Stupid methodology works. His ability to determine consumer needs and deliver it to them before they know they want it puts him at the top of this inspiration list. NowInStock is a great little site because it allows you to snag up those hard to find item, like the Nintendo Wii, before the general public ever knew they were available. Justin runs several other websites that have been equally if not more successful over the years, and I’m sure that he has another 1 or 2 in development.

Paul Stamatiou is a 21 year old student attending Georgia Tech. When he’s not attending classes he’s updating his blog, PStam.com, with insightful reviews on today’s cutting edge technologies. By reading the reviews one would never assume that the blog is maintained by someone Paul’s age.

As a recent self-proclaimed MacFanBoy, I enjoyed reading Paul’s post, 10 Apps Every New Mac User Should Download. Finding out about Adium and Quicksilver made the post incredibly beneficial. I also found that his review of a Dell 30-inch monitor had me lurking around Dell.com for a few days with my credit card in hand. Luckily, I’ve resisted the temptation…for now.

TylerCruz.com

Tyler Cruz is another person that is younger than me and is already well on his way as an Internet Entrepreneur. At the age of 23, he is no newcomer to making money online. He’s been blogging on TylerCruz.com for over 2 years now, and is darn good too! Blogging isn’t the only revenue stream for Tyler, he builds websites, sells advertising space, and has helped broker the sale of domain names as well. In February 2007, Tyler successfully brokered a deal that earned him $23,000. Not too bad for being the go between.

I’m a large fan of Tyler’s 40-something hour work week challenges. I never thought that I would come across someone who would have to push themselves to work over 40 hours a week. It’s intriguing. I’m hoping that I’ll get to a point in my life where the thought of working 40+ hours in a week is an uncomfortable foreign feeling.

I’d also recommend taking a minute to read his My ‘ToDo’ List Unveiled post. Perhaps it’s just me, but I always jump at the chance to hear about other people’s aspirations, hopes and dreams. Tyler certainly knows how to dream. So, if you get a chance I highly suggest checking out his site and you, like me, will ultimately add it to your RSS reader.

So, that concludes the first round of motivational people on Truebluetitan. I found it interesting to look at each individual and highlight why their inspiring characteristics. I’m looking forward to giving out the next round of kudos in the near future.
