You don’t need a Batman utility belt to become an Internet Entrepreneur, but having a few key tools can make your life a whole lot easier and increase your productivity at the same time. Over the past 3 months I have tried countless tools. Some were horrible, while others have become something that I use daily. Seeing as my list continues to grow, I thought it advantageous to create a new category, Entrepreneur Tools, and plan to showcase the tools/applications that have made my life easier. Hopefully, they will do the same for you.

If you have an application (web-based or otherwise) that makes your life easier and more productive, then speak up. Simply leave a recommendation via the Skribit widget on my sidebar. If I’m required to download and install the application, don’t hesitate. I use VMWare Fusion daily and have no problem booting up Windows or Linux on my MacBook Pro to take a look!

Nowadays, people have countless passwords. At last count, I had close to 50 applications that required a password to login. If I were lazy, I would use the same password for each, but as I said before, security is incredibly important in today’s world.

That’s where KeePass comes in. Recommended by a friend of mine, Keepass is a free, open-source password management utility that was developed for Windows, but has been ported to a variety of operating systems including OS X, Linux, Blackberry, Palm OS, and PocketPC. It’s user interface is fairly straightforward, allowing you to store your passwords by groups. The application itself is password protected so you now only need to remember one password instead of 50.

If you have a lot of passwords and know that storing them under your keyboard is just silly: KeePass is the answer.
